Behind the Photography Print - Red and Purple Tulips

Flowers certainly play a key part in House of Serendipity CA’s products. They can be found on many of our products, from postcards, greeting cards and to our fine art photography prints. One of the newest additions to the fine art photography prints line is a floral photography print featuring some beautiful tulips.

In contrast to most of my floral photography prints which usually features some delicate pastel colors, this floral print features some tulips in the very bright and strong colors of red and deep purple. Nevertheless, my brand has always liked color in its many forms and shades, and this was one of the reasons why I decided to include this tulip print in our photography prints line.

Tulips have also had a special place in my mind since my younger days. Visiting the various tulips gardens and fields in the Netherlands remains one of the most fun and memorable moments of my youth. It was quite astonishing to see all those endless rows of tulips and windmills in the Netherlands’ flower gardens.

In addition, some people may also not be aware that unlike many countries around the world, it can be a challenge to find flowers to photograph in Canada. While the rest of the world welcomes the spring season in a reasonable and timely manner, we are often waiting for the long winter season to end, even in the month of March. As a result, I have spent many a day envying all those images of magnolias that are seemingly automatically posted to all those Instagram accounts once the month of March begins. Photographing flowers in March can often be an impossible and a Herculean task in Canada.

Therefore, it is with these thoughts in mind that I hope that my audience will be able to enjoy the story behind this photography print and the significance of it.
