Introduction to House of Serendipity CA - 101
Welcome to The Notebook, House of Serendipity CA’s official blog platform. For our first post for The Notebook, we would like to provide a brief introduction to our company.
WHAT IS HOUSE OF SERENDIPITY CA?
House of Serendipity CA is a stationery and photography company that was founded by me, Eiko (pronounced “A-Ko”), after I had worked 10 very challenging years in the media and entertainment industries.
WHAT DOES THE “CA” IN HOUSE OF SERENDIPITY CA STAND FOR?
The “CA” in the company name stands for the fact that House of Serendipity CA is a business that has its roots and origins in Toronto, Canada.
WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DO YOU CREATE?
After launching the company with a limited number of photo greeting cards, I have gradually expanded our product offerings to include original paper goods, greeting cards, fine art photography prints and stock photographs for image licensing purposes. Currently our photography products feature scenes of nature, florals and the culinary world.
WHY DO YOU CREATE YOUR PRODUCTS?
After working 10 very difficult years in the media and entertainment industries, I realized that there were definitely some things that were missing from my professional life. In particular, I realized that the elements of joy and hope were particularly lacking and as a result, I set out on a journey to correct the situation.
As they say, ask and search and you shall receive! With both concepts of hope and joy firmly restored in my life, I realized that I wanted to create products that also allowed other people to celebrate life’s many special occasions with some style, flair and some joie de vivre. My current goal and hope is that we are able to add some joy, light and vitality to people’s lives one product at a time.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES YOUR PRODUCTS FROM OTHER COMPANIES?
True to its brand name House of Serendipity CA, my products are vibrant, expressive and brimming with life. This characteristic can be seen most vividly in my photography products. In particular, my fine art photography prints are well-known and distinguished for their ability to brim with life. I also strive to create products that are elegant, stylish and have flair.
