Flowers are one of the elements that make a frequent appearance in my stationery and photography products. I am inspired by many things with a floral element and aside from creating many products that incorporate flowers, I have many floral resources that I turn to for daily inspiration and to fuel my creativity. Today, I am sharing my thoughts on one of my favorite floral resources: Georgianna Lane’s official Instagram account.

Ms. Georgianna Lane is a household name in the world of floral and garden photography. She is one of the top floral and garden photographers in North America and Europe, if not in the world. Her beautiful, romantic and light filled images have been known to elicit sighs of admiration and wonder. Furthermore, although her pictures are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, she also displays a strong commitment to technical excellence when it comes to her craft and photographic images. Her close-ups of floral images are always in focus and crystal sharp. She is also a best-selling author of seven books and her most recent works include Hydrangeas, London in Bloom, New York in Bloom and the highly regarded Peonies.

Ms. Lane’s work can also be found in many magazines and publications as she is a widely published professional photographer. However, her Instagram account deserves a special mention as it is infused with beautiful colors, is very uplifting and serves as a wonderful source of inspiration for many. It is one of the best places to showcase and observe her beautiful photographic images. Her account features many pictures of beautiful flowers in glorious pastel shades and images taken from her travels to global destinations such as Paris, London, Italy and New York. Those who love architecture will also find something to like about Ms. Lane’s Instagram feed. Sprinkled throughout her account are many pictures of architectural wonders from her worldwide travels, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Palace of Versailles and various Parisian neighborhoods, many of which are photographed in perfect symmetry and harmony.

Ms. Lane’s Instagram account can be found at @georgiannalane.
